Quotes of the Week: Special Tiger Woods Edition


You knew it was coming. The story that has consumed mass media all over the world for the last week or so. There is so much to talk about with this Tiger Woods scandal, it’s hard to know where to start.

It’s going to take a long time to deconstruct the whole mess. One post won’t do it justice. I have so many questions:

– Was this an arranged marriage: constructed from the beginning to make Tiger (who clearly wanted to party) more palatable to a larger (read: Whiter) audience?

– How does all of the mistresses being White impact the story?

– Don’t these women realize not using condoms with Tiger reflects just as poorly on them as it does him?!

Simply put, this is a publicity and public health nightmare. Here are some colorful quotes from the week:
