you’re broken, I can’t fix you
I thought I had the right tools

it seemed like I found paradise
but you’re broken and I’m April’s fool

you’re broken, I can’t fix you
the shattered glass lay pon the floor

I’m bruised and bleeding everywhere
never chase a man I always swore

you’re broken, I can’t fix you
the time has come that I withdrew

But I thank you for the lesson
It’s now I see I’m broken too

Sometimes you need someone just as or more broken than you to make you realize that it’s more important that you work on yourself…than try to put pieces together that were lost way before you got there.
